I have spent my life being told stand up straight and suck your tummy in. Woman are not allowed to have tummies, and if we do we need to suck them in as much as possible. Tonight however we were doing deadlifts with the trap bar and one of the teaching points was to take a deep breathe in, not a superficial breath with the top of our chest but a great big fucking lungful that pushes our belly out and will help stabilize the spine. So I did, and picked up a 110Kg trap bar deadlift. Fuck yeah.
