The Weights

Keeping track of what I have been doing and how I am improving. These aren’t true 1RM, I am not scientific or organised enough for that, just weights I have hit during a training session. As I don’t know what events or weights will be in my first competition I have no goals, apart from just continuing to try and improve.

Deadlift (no straps) 95kg – 105kg – 1/5/13
Bench Press 40kg – 42.5kg – 45kg – 15/05/13
Log Press 40kg – 11/04 42.5kg -09/05
Farmers Walk 115kg – 25/04 120kg – 2/5/13 125kg – 16/5/13
Yoke  130kg – 21/03  150kg – 09/05
Squat  Don’t ask.

    Looking great! I’ve yet to try yoke. Are your weights for Farmers per hand or combined?

      Combined!!! So 62.5kg per hand at the moment. At my gym the atlas stones START at 80kg so not sure how I’m going to practice those yet.

        Nice!! 🙂 ouch at the starting at 80kg.. I made a sack up (squished stone chippings) into a kind of square with tape and a second sack over for extra strength. it’s 25kg and a great practice for ‘form’ there are some great vids on you tube so might work for you.. you could use a really big medicine ball too then up the weight with something. Just some ideas. There is a seller on my FB friends too I can put you together they’re £30 each but depends on delivery.
